Curated cancer news and information
What is curated news?
Unlike a news aggregation service that uses automated software to scan the web for keywords, a human curator selects specific news for your needs and presents it in an interesting way. At Medical Digest Publications we focus on clinical news that patients facing a cancer diagnosis can look to as a potential treatment option they may want to ask their oncologist about. We don't spotlight laboratory or animal studies as those are likely to be years away from clinical trials.
Specializing in health care content writing and editing for web content, blogs, e-newsletters and publications, Managing Editor Michael O’Leary has been covering medical research and health care since 1988. He served as senior science writer at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle, and as managing editor for NexCura, which developed the treatment decision tools on the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association and American Lung Association sites. He is a certified medical writer by the American Medical Writers Association.
